Hula and The Real Estate Market Today

Hula and Real Estate
March 17th, 2008 12:37 PM

What do these two have in common? I love both, so when I'm not running from Hula classes I'm running for Real Estate. They both take discipline, and hard work to be good at.

When I was in my preteens my mom made me go to my Hula classes, so of course in my teens and early adulthood I was not interested but for some reason after my mom passed away, I just had the desire to start Hula again. I guess she knew that I would love it and now I really do. Thanks mom.

As for Real Estate, if your not able to discipline yourself and stay the course your not going to make it today. The market is up the market is down, doesn't matter. No one can dispute the fact that Real Estate has and will always be a good investment.

Enjoy your day, do something you love.

Hula Praise
March 31st, 2008 5:41 PM

Had a another wonderful Praise and Worship Hula performance on Sunday. What a great way to give back. Our audience has already lived a full life and now at their age deserve to be able to sit back, relax and enjoy an hour of praise and worship. I'm never sure who gets more benefit, since we enjoy it the same. Seems we are filling up our calendar with performances and were excited that this ministry is taking off.

Now all I need is my Real Estate Business to do the same, so give me a call and let me help you get your next home sold or bought. Dedicated to every detail both in dance and in life.

Company's Coming
March 28th, 2008 8:29 AM

This past month I've had company, in fact I still have company and I have more company coming next week.....How do you get your work done with so much company???? Not easy, but possible. The idea is to enlist their help, company loves to help...Now if I can only figure out what to give them to do??

Maybe I will take a Real Estate Break and just enjoy my company. After all my business is people and these are people and people eventually mean business, so there you go. I'm actually working.

Have a great day, and stay in the moment you never know if you'll have that moment again.

Everyday is a good day
March 25th, 2008 2:48 PM

Don't you just hate those happy all the time people??? NO, I love them! We really need a lot more of them out there. A smile from someone can make the whole day worth living. Something so small and insignificant can make a huge difference. Also have you noticed that when someone is nice to you, seems to pass on to the next person you meet? That's why we need more of them to counteract all the grumpy's out there taking up too much space.

Real Estate is much the same, people remember how there treated long after the purchase or sale of a property when it is over. So I make it my #1 priority to treat them the way I would like to be treated.

If your thinking about making a Real Estate change in your life, I welcome your call.

Happy Resurrection Sunday
March 20th, 2008 10:36 AM

Everyone else calls it Easter and even I have succumbed to baskets full of candies and bunnies for my niece and grandson. But deep down I know the real significance of this day and I'm excited to participate in an Easter Service that includes a beautiful Hula to "Who Am I" by the Casting Crowns. It's amazing to be part of a worship team that not only has a full band, praise vocals and worship hula but also shares the message of great treasure. Resurrection means that we have access to God through his Son Jesus Christ, and that we have the same guarantee if we believe in Him.

Let this Easter Sunday be more to you than a basket of bunnies and candy. Let this be the day that you understand where you came from and where your going, and enjoy the peace inside that your soul longs for.

I wish you and your family an amazing Resurrection Sunday.

Be Blessed.

Down Size to Sell Quickly
March 15th, 2008 2:38 PM

Can it be that I'm really a catagory? I guess I am considered a late boomer, because here I am in a downsized home. It is amazing how little you really need to cart around with you, when I was in the early mom years of gathering, gathering and more gathering it just seemed as though I needed all that stuff (kitchen stuff, bathroom decor stuff, living room stuff and so on) frankly I'm glad that it is now time to get rid of stuff. Dusting and cleaning all that stuff just takes too much time. I admit that I could probably get rid of much more but as long as I don't buy any more I should be OK.

It's much the same when your working with a seller, convincing (no, more like begging) them to pack up what they don't need and having a garage sale for the rest is the best chance of selling quickly and yet your asking them to give up all those years of gathering. At least I know how they feel and how there going to feel later.

So my St. Patty's Day advice for sellers, is to keep it clean, to get the green.                      OK, I'm not a poet but it just seemed to work.

Market ever changing
March 5th, 2008 11:49 AM

Is it getting better or worse? Depends who you are. Because we have inflation in a recession we are a bit confused. FHA to increase loan limits, HELOC's (home equity line of credit) to freeze limits or reduce them, seller's wanting more for their property and buyer's wanting to pay less...Could it get any easier for a Real Estate Agent????

That's what makes my job so interesting and keeps me smiling. The best thing to be to all parties your representing is calmness, coolness and collective-ness. If I were Borg I could assimilate a few clients since that won't work my cool head and casual nature will have to do.

To all my clients, we will make it through.
